Q&A and Discussion4. What Women Don’t Know About Women What do women not know about women AND other women won’t tell them AND men won’t either? 🙂 As a women . . . how well do you think you know yourself and other women? If a man were to share something that he felt women didn’t know about women, what would be your response? 🙂 It’s interesting today as the story is told about three young women / mothers and how when they were 10 years old or younger where they discovered something about men that most adult don’t know. Brianne at the age of 10 years old made a list in her head about what her 14 year old brother didn’t like about girls and then set out to NOT be that type of a girl. Brianne’s husband now benefits from that type of thinking as to all the men that Brianne now works with through her own business. Elise, at the age of 8 years old got upset on the inside at her dad having all types of drama and being defensive and made a decision to NOT be like her dad. GingerAnne who is 29 years old, twin newborn girls, and a 3 and 5 year old son learn, in spite of her more passive personality to be driven from her grandmother when she was 8 or 9 years old and now men love working with GingerAnne and her three companies.

5. Project of Leverage, the Art of Positive Motivation and Manipulation  How does this topic apply to single moms? What do single moms not know?

There are many ways that men take advantage of single women, and this brings great harm to the mom, and to her children.  How do single moms become prey?
What state of mind is a single woman in when she is not taken care of properly. . . and she doesn’t seem to listen to advice of peers or friends? If this man has children of his own who he doesn’t care for, what is the rationale that he will take care of someone else’s children?
Our hearts go out to single moms, and we hurt for them when they see the situation repeated. The best thing we can do is to be available for support. . . even practical help with childcare so the single mom can go out with her friends, and emotional support so the mom can be lifted up. They need to know that people care about them, and that they can learn to think differently about their situation.

Good & Bad Drama . . . Wow, is there such a thing as good drama? Most men won’t touch this topic with a ten foot pole so it’s interesting to get a man’s perspective. Most interesting to look at how each personality can create drama in their own way. How do we know the difference between good and bad drama? How can we as Awesome Women really be awesome and create good drama and get rid of the bad drama that hurts and tears people down?

Heather Wilhelm wrote  a recent newspaper article In the NATIONAL REVIEW on the attack on boys and manhood. She says boys are beat down, not given attention, because they are boys…while girls are lifted up because they are girls.

Mark Boersma has been an executive coach for 30+ years. He has seen numerous ADHD/ADD boys who have been prescribed Ritalin …grow to men. Reports are now that boys’ testosterone levels are down 50 % from the past.  What is that doing to our boys? How is that affecting our men?
What does being a white male over 50 have to do with being lazy?
Having discipline? Keeping their word?
Is it different for others?
How can men realize that they NEED to work HARDER NOW than they ever did in the past?
Why do white males not “march on Washington”? Because they are working. They didn’t ask their boss if they could take the day off — they just want to produce. They are not lazy.  They don’t want to make waves…they don’t want the drama.
Q&A
Who are protecting our boys?
Who is standing up for the men?
Do MEN openly SEEK to be told they are AWESOME?
How does performance in the workplace breed self-confidence and discipline…less drama and excuses… ?
WOMEN:
What is our part in all this?
What does Our Life Vision have to do with anything?
How do we bring back the “manliness” in our boys?  In our men?
SEE the future before it happens.

26. Positive and Negative FRUSTRATION
frus·tra·tion
frəˈstrāSH(ə)n/     noun  – the feeling of being upset or annoyed, especially because of inability to change or achieve something.

Positive FRUSTRATION pushes us to do better, try harder, reach higher…it is one catalyst for growth and improvement. Have you seen a child learning to walk? It is a challenge, but with encouragement, our children walk.

Negative FRUSTRATION pulls us down, makes us feel “stuck”, tempts us to give up. Have you seen a child study something, and they just don’t “get it”? Do you suffer from repeated failure or weakness?

The FEELING of FRUSTRATION can be harnessed to encourage us through the tough times…through the mistakes…reminding us to focus, try again, don’t quit. Positive FRUSTRATION tells us to embrace the pain and accept that we are growing.

27. Does MORE empathy make us LESS strong?
Another article in the Chicago Tribune is the launch-point for today’s discussion: Author, Sharon Kan, writing  “The Parent Trap”, told women “not to worry” when life gets in the way, or when their appointments or expectations are missed. Life happens!  We understand !
Here’s another way to look at it . . .  How accurate is the “not-to-worry” message when it concerns life or death of one’s business? Is EMPATHY the best message to send to women in business?
What is the difference between good guilt and bad guilt?
Are we simplifying the wrong things, and making difficult the things that should be simple?
*** When we whine or make excuses, does that make us weaker?
*** Do we hinder others from growing if we allow too much empathy?
*** How does not accepting excuses — our own or other’s —  help build discipline?

28. The topic of HELP verses HEALING…How are they different?

We hear, “I want to HELP you.” What does that mean? Is it a permanent fix, or temporary?

What does “HEALING” feel like or look like to someone? Is it possible to solve pain at the core?
The Atomic Ball Principle shows how pain or hurt creates energy. When that energy is directed towards doing good, or choosing positive actions, or focusing on the future, how can we get on the road to HEALING?
What does being a victim have to do with “HELPING” or “HEALING”?
How do we HEAL from our own Pain?
Continue with the Q & A…
What happens when someone doesn’t choose to be HEALED? What can we learn from taking ownership of our pain to HEAL?
Could there be benefit to the pain? On the other side of the pain — can we see how being “thankful” for the experience can be a positive thing?  Not thankful for the bad, but thankful for the positive we can make from the bad…
What is the connection between emotional and physical pain in finding HEALING?  Are there ways to HEAL at the CORE without medication?

experiences “spill over” into BUSINESS…

29. Answer: You should make LIFE experiences “spill over” into BUSINESS…

QUESTION: When we find ourselves in a tough situation, how do we make the situation livable so that those around us can survive — so there will be the least amount of damage? ANSWER: take a lesson from LIFE !

Realize that experiences in life with babies, children, teens, a husband, friends…all of these experiences should be applied to business —  OUTSIDE the realm of life at home. Remember the contractions of labor and delivery? They came harder and faster…would more DRAMA added to the situation have helped the process? No.  So, adding DRAMA in the workplace, or to relationships, or to challenging situations probably won’t work either.
Imagine that you have to catch a plane in 2 minutes…you will do everything to make sure you are not late. Think about that focus…what if we applied daily life experiences to BUSINESS…and business experiences to LIFE !  We could transform all areas of our lives!
How can I transfer this knowledge to the business world? How do I help others to make connections with their learning?
Have perspective in situations…make sure we think about things with an open mind. Look at challenges from a global perspective…learn to apply lessons of life to EVERY area of life — home, work, business, spiritual, physical, … and more !
How can we acquire the GIFT to apply home lessons to business, and apply life lessons to friends, and apply childhood lessons to adulthood?  Once we can see the need, how do we capture the energy and motivation to move that GIFT forward to others?
Join the Group Discussion to talk about meeting business deadlines, dealing with grudges, getting through the every-day challenges, selfishness, and more!
And, next week’s focus: “How do we accomplish more at events WITH intention, rather than WITHOUT intention?”

30. How Do We Accomplish More at events WITH intention, rather than WITHOUT intention?

From Business meetings to Birthday Parties…What is the Biggest Challenge of Women to get to “C Level” people? Why is it harder for women to connect?
It seems that the environment that men and women DO Business is different.
While women expect business attire and a round table of shared ideas,
men DO Business on the golf course, at boxing matches, and sporting arenas.
Why don’t women socialize in these networks? Because women are usually home with the kids, or not expected to attend.
So, women must learn to DO business in every environment, and with all their networks.
Women can have INTENTION to move forward at every event.
How can women LEVERAGE all social, religious, and personal events?
What are the steps to making money in business?
First, find your WiiFM – “What’s in it For Me”, your Driving Force.

I don’t want to be “that person” who is always trying to “sell” something to my friends. How can I avoid that?
Where do I find resources to give away for free? Check out these Free Resources –   and search on “Cool Free Stuff”.
What do I do if people would rather whine than change? Some just go to events to hang out, relax.
Write a white paper that can subtly help people in their process…tell at the end what I can offer them that may cost money.
Ask people what their Biggest Challenge is for the next week’s call. Offer to feature their BC on the call, and send them the recording.

31. How do Moms deal with Whiny BOYS?  How about Whiny MEN?

When boys whine, what is an effective strategy to eliminate it?  What does it teach a BOY when he “gets his way” after whining?
Have you heard a MAN whine? “I’m so busy…I’m not sure what to do…No one has time to help me…” What is a MAN going to do when someone steps in and saves the day? What does it teach the MAN?
Could there be a link between WHINING and not being successful in business? With entrepreneurs, we have learned that when we maintain focus and discipline, there is no time for whining. Why waste the effort? Why add the drama?
Listen to personal stories in the Discussion…
What is the best way to “call out” the BOYS in our life who whine?
Should we send this recording to the MEN in our life who whine?

32. How Do I Deal with Fear when it Takes over My Whole Mind and Body?
The video, “Just Stop It”, gives a hilarious look on the time and energy we waste upon fears that…really…never are going to happen.
What are results of fear? What causes it? What are physical and emotional symptoms? What is the positive side of fear?
The Four Personalities all have different causes of fear, and ways they deal with it.  What are ways we can overcome our fear?

And, in the Discussion…How do we GET OUT of the cycle of fear? What if we make a bigger mess when we try to figure it out, or make a mistake?  There is an easy question to ask ourselves to help us GET OUT . . .

Realize, ladies, who you are, how much you are needed, and what you have to offer to the world !  BE EMPOWERED to push through fears that WILL come, and know that you are not alone in your search for wholeness. :))
